Commercial specifications can vary by grade and composition. JECFA lists a specification with a minimum 90% assay, while commercial fragrance materials can have higher specifications; BASF, for example, lists a Geranyl Acetate 60 product at minimum 97% purity but as a mixed geranyl/neryl acetate product.
